Here’s a taste of my backstory with my love for movies. Ever since I can remember, I loved watching movies. Laughing at a funny scene, closing my eyes at a scary movie, fist pumping at an action scene, and even crying at a sad scene. This is what intrigued me to be an avid movie fan growing up. I used to look forward to Saturday night movie specials on tv, and around the holidays, the networks having movie marathons. Then when I got older, I would try to get good grades, and be on my best behavior, so come weekends, I was able to rent a movie of my choice, from the local blockbuster. My mom eventually would tell me to stop renting either a Star Wars movie, or another Ernest movie. My favorite movie growing up, and still to this day, is Back to the Future (I will go in depth why, in a future review)

When I was a young teenager, I started to dip my fandom to movies across all genres, and across all decades. My favorite movies from the Golden years of Hollywood, would have to be Singin’ in the Rain, and Rebel without a Cause. I would recommend these two movies to anyone that wants to give older movies a try. 

Now in adulthood, I try to find a wide array of movies to watch. The newest blockbuster flick, indie darlings, and original screenplays. I’m always willing to try any movie, and go in with an open mind.
