Hello friends, family, and fellow readers! We are finally feeling settled in our permanent jobs and homes. We are currently living in Old Orchard Beach, and working in Portland, Maine. We are going to be starting house hunting soon… so wish us some luck! We need it.
We are still going to Orangetheory, and are loving it. This past week we did the 2000 meter row, and 1 mile run benchmarks. Check out my PR week!

It was a benchmark heavy week because it’s the start of a transformation challenge. With this type of competition, we chose fat loss or increasing skeletal mass. We start the challenge on a body scan that shows your body composition. Check out my body composition from this last week.

Are you joking? Do you think I’d share that? My husband doesn’t even know how much I weigh. At the end of the challenge, they do another body composition comparison. They declare two winners. The person who lost the most body fat percentage, and the person who gained the most skeletal mass percentage. Nick and I are both doing body fat. I can’t wait to keep you guys updated on how we are doing. Now I’ll stop talking about all the life updates, and start talking about what you guys came for. Who’s ready for some fun date nights for February, in honor of valentines day?

Valentine’s Day, and the month of romance is right around the corner, so I thought it would be fun to talk about the five love languages. I talked a lot about these love languages last year. Last year, I gave some great date examples to show your love language. Check out last year’s month of romance blogs!
Everyone feels and shows love in different ways. Don’t get me wrong, I thought you had to be in a romantic relationship to learn about your love language. I was wrong… understanding your love language can help you maintain healthy relationships with friends, and loved ones. These great date nights can also be celebrated with friends! Like last year, I want everyone to figure out their love language!
Let’s get started… start off by taking the love language quiz. Have your partner take the quiz too. Here’s the link!:
