Welcome to Jingle Date night series date one. If you haven’t caught on, I love all holidays, and really enjoy celebrating them. I’m a person that wears the corny shirt to the gym, that says hanging with my gnomies with little gnomes on it.
I wanted to spice our date nights like spooky date nights, with activities like crafts, movies, and fun foodies. Again, Nick definitely enjoys the movie and the fun, but not necessarily the crafts, but he partakes. Similar rules of spooky date night, cause all date nights need rules.
- No phones during jingle date nights, unless it’s for ideas, photography, or obviously Christmas music. This rule is to simply help with disconnecting from social media, and the outside World, and help you connect with your partner.
- No complaining, and obviously have fun.
Now let’s get festive!
Materials:
- Pizza dough or you can even use pillsbury thin crust
- Baking spray
- Pizza sauce
- Favorite pizza toppings
- Cheese
- Cookie sheets
- Christmas music
Directions:
- Set your mood to the festive vibes. We have a Christmas playlist. We obviously had to start with the grinch theme song, as that’s my husband’s theme song.
- Preheat the oven to whatever temperature the dough requires. It’s usually on the packaging.
- Spray the sheet pan with cooking spray.
- Shape your dough into whatever shape you feel like it, whether it may be a Christmas tree, snowman, star, Star of David, or whatever reminds you of the holidays on top of the cookie sheet. It’s easier to do it on top of the cookie sheet, so you don’t have to transfer it.
- Decorate the fun holiday shape with sauce, and your favorite pizza toppings.
- Cook your pizza to the desired temperature on the package.
Enjoy your festive meal while watching your favorite Christmas movie. I’m not going to give it away, but Nick and I watched an all time favorite. Christmas movie. This movie celebrated its 20th Anniversary this past week. Flickswithnick will be reviewing this flick next!
